TOPIC: reserve miles

Who has run the most miles on reserve tank? I have run 20 miles several times, but don't want to go much more.

I went 28 miles last weekend on reserve driving very conservativly once the light came on and put in 3.76 gallonsat fill up. Today riding home from work I went 103 miles before filling up and put 3.89 gallons in but I didn't note the reserve miles before I reset. I'm comfortable going 25 miles once the light comes on but only if I keep off the throttle.

I refuse to push this beast! As soon as I see the last slice of pie start flashing, I B-line it to the nearest fuel stop

there is no reserve switch just look for the low fuel light in the tach & when it comes on the display will start counting the miles since the light came on
