Looks Good Oliver,
Once installed, does this have a switch to disable it? Thanks Rick |

If you wire in a toggle switch (I would recommend that) you can simply switch between stock signal and TopSpeed. If there is enough interest I can throw together a wiring kit with a switch and a diagram how to wire that up. |

Use these tap splice connectors (available auto or hardware store), to tap into 4 leads

These allow you to straddle whatever color lead going to ECU and tap into it by running a lead from the TopSpeed unit to the adjacent matching color lead. Thus tapping into that wire when you crimp the blade down on the wires, and snap the protective cover closed. Makes for a nice easy install
You still may need to cut or break the current/signal at some point. I haven't looked at the install instructions, but these type connectors should make the install pretty easy |

You have to cut 1 wire (speed signal), run the buttom end of it into the IN and the top end of that wire into the OUT of the TopSpeed. The Wire to cut is the WHITE/YELLOW speedsignal wire that runs from the lower ABS ECU to the upper Main ECU. In addition you need to tap into 12V for power. There is a RED/BLUE wire on the right hand side of the ECU that is perfect for that. A wire tap like shown above will do the trick. And finally you need ground anywhere from the chassis or any of the BLACK wires or directly from the battery. I will post a detailed install guide with pictures that shows the install step by step. It is really easy. If you can do a Speedohealer type device, you can do this the very same way. Hope this helps! fxstein |
