My 1991 Vmax runs fine except for the seeping black oil on the cylinderhead .Since I live in a very low density Vmax population country I find it difficult to source for cylinderhead gasket. I wish to know the part number for the cylinderhead gasket cover for online puchase reference. Appreciate it if anyone could help.Thanks in advance.

Valve cover gasket ot head gasket?

Its the one that covers the valve, ie the upper most part of the engine. Tq

Part number you need for gaskets is 26H-11193-00-00.

Check gaskets under each valve cover bolt (16)...it can leak from there too.

gee ! thanks Mark for your info..how I wish to let Gary of Omaha know you informed me about the part number... but I live on the other side of the globe which may make purchasing the part quite impossible. However with the info you provide I'll try to source it over the net. About the gaskets under each valve cover bolt you mentuioned, does it mean there's another seperate set of gaskets Mark? Cheers.
