My Vmax air scoope's chrome began to peel off, is it possible to rechrome them to make them look new again?

You must be talking about an older Vmax, since the new ones don't have chrome. I'm sure it is possible to rechrome it, or buy a replacement off ebay.

Hey bud they re-dip them in the plating process. usually the first set peals if the prep is not done correctly. I had to have a set re-chromed on my 1992 about a year later. it started with bubbling then when i hit it with the pressure washer it was nothing but ugly.
