TOPIC: Paint inside radiators

Was wondering if anyone has had their radiators off their 09 010s.Found that on my 09, the inlet and outlet pipes on the radiators had been painted.The coolant caused a reaction with the paint will try to send photos.what would the best way to flush the coolant system.Just a heads up my friends my 09 might have been born on a friday.

Are you saying that they painted the inside of the outlets?

I am willing to bet $1.00 that all radiators have that, because they are fabricated in the same shop.

Guys I posted about this 12 months ago you will find all are the same and on other bikes as well very common place apparently, my dealer said that is nothing to be worried about.

My bike being born on a FRIDAY...HUH! Freaky Friday that is Shawn.:beer: That's even more paint than I imagined. I think I will just mix some sugar and acid together and dump it in the radiator to help dissolve it. Thanks for the heads up Mr.Max!
