I did look @ them @ O'Reilly's, but they didn't have the XS model for the max..Had to order it and i wanted it NOW

Oh, and i tried the trick to blow the cap off of the plug with the air line and it didn't work for me. Mayb i didn't have enough psi in the air tank.. Someone else try it and see if it works for you..

How did you get them off, I don't want to pry them off but I can't get any leverage to pull them straight up. Just curious.

Hello,

behind on the right after 30,000 km.
Inside electrode very well
Outside electrode easily burnt down.

Absolutely also for 40,000 km well!

unplug the clip & use both hands best you can & twist push up on it.. Ur not going to hurt it.. & when you re install it make sur you push dow hard on it til you hear 2 or 3 clicks to make it set well on the plug.. I put air to it but no luck for me.. Good luck 2u!

Ted ,Ibet time heat and miles did not make you job any eaiser and some folks say you dont baby your max either i bet the rubber boots were about glued to the plugs

No, the boot came off easy, it was the getting my hands in there to do the work and move a lot of wires around to pull the boot out of it's home.. :sweat: No room @ all on this bike for a s/plug job :pierced: Oh, it may have a lot to do with i'm a Ratard :smash: Takes me longer then most i'm sure.. :nonono: But i geter done :puhh: Bike runs a whole lot better now..

To get the ignition coils on and off, I used a large flat head. You aren't gonna hurt them. I used a wash cloth in between the driver and engine/frame for leverage going both on and off.
