The best I have had from a full tank was 88.1 miles but it was just running on vapour fumes by the time I got to the petrol station. I’ve just filled up with 97 octanes but been a little naught with the right wrist but will post the results from that. I picked up my bike last sunday,it had 302 miles on the clock,i filled it up with fuel then started my 148 mile journey back home,,,most was on the motorway,i had a few small blasts but kept to 60-70mph,,,after 100 miles the fuel light came on,,,,no sign of a fuel station for miles,,so i was reduced to riding it on tickover....if i run out on the motorway then i was in BIG trouble,,,luckily i found a fuel station on a slip road......i got 120 miles on it before filling up,i only got just over 13 ltrs at the station so there was still over 1 ltr left in the tank.

He drives better now but still 65 miles light on ,after braking him in . Little sad that i can not take mu bike to key west because i would have take gas with me. lightworker...I live here in Homestead FL, and I can get to Key West with no issues. You will have to fill up 1 time between points (More than likely in Marathon, FL). I have been getting right at about 84-85 miles to the fuel light that's mostly city driving hi way almost 90 last hi way run gassed up at 106 miles at 3.7 1 gallons , I run Max pretty hard too.	capt bob OFFLINE Platinum Max Posts: 4079 Thank you received: 1718

Several rides with fellow VMaxer's last weekend in Michigan with my stock 2010 Gen2 with 1250 miles on it (still breaking it in) :lolipop:

First stop / after 60 mph back road cruising: 75.3 miles took 2.1 gals to top off = 35.8 mpg
Second stop after 42.5 miles of "spirited" riding / 1.45 gal to top off = 30 mpg.
Third stop / after 69 miles - half highway cruising at 80 mph / 2 gal to top off = 35 mpg.
Fourth stop all highway miles at 80+ mph, fuel light came on at 90 miles / 3 gal to top off = 30 mpg.

I can live with these numbers !
