Bob,
Them bolts don't come with a hack saw...that's extra...lol...

I think the lengths would be fixable...the O.D. may have to be ground down a bit depending on the recessed hole where the socket head goes into, if that it=s how those mirrors are configured...if the whole head of the bolt is not recessed, the O.D. and length would make no difference of course...

I can throw them into a First Class USPS envelope for probably $2 or less...the bolts are "Gratis" and the Optional Hack Saw Handle is $100 and the Optional Blades are $50/ea...

All kidding aside...I just re-read your post Bob...does he need TWO reverse thread bolts...only the right side has the Reverse and the left side is Right Thread, at least on the Stock handlebar mounts...I do have the accompanying Right Thread Socket Head bolts which are identical in the physical sizes mentioned...

Got your PM and I will mail the one reverse 10mm thread socket head bolt tomorrow morning...being that we are so close to each other, you should have it on Monday...IF lucky, on Saturday...

Let me know when you get it...

Post some pictures of the installed mirrors after you done...maybe others would like the setup...

Is it possible to find a nut for that reverse thread????

I need one.

The only one that I have ever been to find is the nut off of the Right Hand Side OEM Mirror Assy of any Yamaha and most Ducatis...Just get one from a junk pile that someone must have lying around...

The only other way would be to have one made or try to search on-line for a 10mm-1.25 Reverse Thread Nut and see if you can find one...the last time I tried, I couldn't find any...

Hope that helps...

Thanks Art!
I never thought about that jam nut on the mirrors.

I've got a reverse thread yamaha, "Ram mount" that my radar detector is velcro to.
My Super Tenere has these holes in the fairing that I want to bolt the ol' ram mount to.

It's great that Yamaha and Ducati have made reverse thread hardware for their right hand mirrors, so that they will collapse backwards when and if you were to hit something with your mirrors...but trying to get any reverse thread hardware, when you want to change to a different mirror is almost impossible unless that manufacturer includes the hardware with the mirrors, which most of them do...but paying the price for new mirrors when all you wanted is a bolt or nut, is ridiculous of course...

Hope you can find something to work...

Let me know if you can't and maybe I can help, depending on what it is you are trying to do...I kind of get the picture of what you are attempting but just want to make sure...
