My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300
I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride...

On another note that was very sad news about the 3 American college students killed in a tragic auto accident in NZ over
the weekend.

Art is correct you have to eliminate one at a time the bulbs are a good starting point and a test light probe will tell if you are getting current to the flasher/ bulb socket just take one step at a time.

1st it did not go over my head...re flasher :lolipop:
2nd very sad about the students and we all hope that the others will be okay.
And I guess I will need to take Max to Brian as I dont have a light probe.

Helen, if you use the Signals not so much, there's a fair Chance the Contacts in the Switch at the left Handle Bar are corroded. Work them left to right 10 or 12 Times. Id they start to come alive, open the Switch and clean the Contacts. Use dielectric Grease there after you got them cleaned.
