Saw the tab on the top of the page for the Vmax of the month. Is it a vote or a random draw? If it's a vote, how do I do it?

This is a recent addition to the site and FXSTEIN and the moderators are working on this project. Keep an eye out for updates.

This is gonna be a nice recognition program for people that put the hard work and time into making there bike unique.

Is this just for Gen 2 bikes?

To be fully transparent:

We have not finalized the program details. Right now we are discussing how to run the program.

Good question about the GEN 1 vs 2.

In general we want to showcase new custom bikes. There are a ton of cool custom GEN 1s out there.

Most importantly we will be looking for active members. A member will need at least 50 posts on our boards to be able to get nominated and voted for.

We also want to avoid the misuse of voting functions. We have learned a few things from past contests we ran. Don't want somebody to signup fake accounts just to drive votes.

Right now I am leaning towards a nominations process, where anybody can nominate any bike (even their own - as long as the minimum post count is reached for the nominated member) and the moderation team will pick out of the top 3-5 nominations.

That way there is a balance between the community and a little bit of control to avoid misuse of the system.

Thoughts?
