hello my fello Vmaxers. i am sure i will get some criticism for this post but i have not other option at this point. i was just layed off from my job of 5 yrs friday and now i can not afford my bike payment at the end of this month. i am sure i am not the only one struggling with the way the ecomony is today. so my only choices are to sell my bike or ask my fello Vmaxers for some tempory help. if only one forth of the members here could find it in there hearts to help out a guy so he doesn't have to sell the one thing in life that brings him true happiness by sending $1 or any type of donation so i can make my bike payment at the end of this month i would be so greatful. for those that would like any donation paid back i would have no problem doing so. if you can help me out or interested in buying my bike please send me a PM. for all those that took the time to read this i thank you from the bottom of my heart. thanks, aj

I sold my 09 R1 a few months ago to get out from under the payments and to pay off my credit cards as it looked like there was a serious chance of me getting laid off and also I still have to potential to have major surgery that will keep me off of work for at least 8 weeks.

It is a tough choice but bikes will always be there even if you end up having to sell it. Make a plan to improve your financial outlook and stick to it.

I have my goals set and working hard everyday to improve my health and pay off as much debt as I can. I hope to have a GEN II by this coming spring riding season.

Stay strong and remember it will get better.

Listen, I know things can get tough, and I don't want to be insensitive to your situation, but not having the money to pay your necessary bills, like mortgage, insurance, kids needs, is one thing, but to ask for money to pay off a motorcycle is another. And I'm not sure if its true, but some have said on this thread that you have a gen 1. If it is, then you need to get rid of that. I only have one motorcycle, I definitely am not going to help you have two.
Please reconsider your plea for help. I think you have the answer right under your feet. You did mention selling the gen 2 and that is admirable. I hate to see you lose your Max, especially if you get back on your feet fast and could of kept it. Do you have no family that can float you 1 months payment?

if someone wants to buy my 1986 custom max or parts off of it, i would be more than willing to sell it. i don't think i can sell it in time to make my payment at the end of this month. the only family i have is my mother who called me today to tell me that she has been out of the hospital for a while now after being in there to have cancer removed. i am sure many will not believe me but that is the gods honest truth. so she has not been working for a while now and i am sure she has tons of med bills. i have already paid for all my other bills and what i was gonna make at my job in the next few weeks would have paid my bike payment at the end of the month. i am not looking for people to send me money to pay off my bike just help to make a payment. i am sorry that i had to ask strangers to help me out but like i said befor i have no problem paying back any money that is sent to me when i get back on my feet. i don't know what else to say but i am sorry for having gone this route.
