Brownish glazing on exhaust tips 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Rode hard down in TN over the weekend and after coming back noticed a brownish "glazing" on the stock exhaust tips, more on the left upper than the rest. It will come off with some elbow grease. Would like to know if you guys think it is running rich to make this happen. I have most of the common mods everyone else does with cats gone, EXUP, ASIS, Jon's box, etc. Bike seems to be running strong. Has anyone else noticed this occurance?

The glazing is not on the bottom of the exhaust tips, it is on the inside of the silver covers around the actual exhaust exit.

The subject was covered sometime back in another thread, but if I remember correctly it was a common thing and nothing to worry about.
Do a little thread search and I'm sure you can find the thread.
