Blinker flasher

TOPIC: Blinker flasher

Can anyone please tell me where the blinker flasher is located? Don't ask where I have looked but haven't found it yet. The diagram in the manual gives a general location of the left side but I didn't see it there.

It's under left side cover as your sitting on bike, Held on by a rubber shroud that slides on a flat piece of metal bracket.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's where I've been looking but I still don't see it there. Do you know what color the wires are to it?

the flasher relay is under the right side cover (the other "left side" ).

it is a small cube with a white two-prong connector.

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300
I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride and owned one. It's OK I now have my very own VMAX. "24thDec"

Thanks to all. Found it right where it is supposed to be.
BTW, thanks for the pic of the guy with the "all purpose" rain coat.
