I am in the process of installing a Dynojet Wideband Commander A/F unit and need some advice. I am running the UFO Catsass and Maxtuner setup.
Can I just disconnect and remove the OEM right side A/F sensor and use that bung for my Wideband Commander? I am thinking I read some where that if you disconnect this sensor the bikes map stays where it presently is. But, if I am adjust my A/F with the Maxtuner and Wideband Commander, will I be okay? or Will I screw things up??? Rainy Sunday Afetrnoon Project on Hold. LOL rick rash |

Excuse my typos - on the iPhone on Kauai....
yes you can unhook the stock O2 sensor. If you adjust the map set it to 14.4:1 at low Tom and throttle below 20% and about 13:1 at full throttle. Hope this helps! |

Hahaha!
That auto-correct on the iPhone turned 'rpm' into 'Tom' - sorry about that! Up to 20% throttle about about 6000 rpm the bike should be mapped to 14.4:1 when you intend to go back to use the stock O2 sensor. That's where the fixed map is set to on the stock bike. Once the O2 sensor is connected back it will 'pull' the AF ratio at that part throttle up to 14.7:1. Hope this helps! |

Well, tonight I finally got my Dynojet Wideband installed and running correct. I couldnt get it read anything but 18:1 and checked all the grounds and connections. Even crossed hooked to my 1500 Tourmaster. My 1500 has the dial version and 09 the digital readout. Then the very last check was the dial itself. Shit. There are two little dip switches inside the back and were on off. I dont know what the purpose, but when I flipped them on, Voila, Fuel map shows way off just at idle in garage. Very very lean. Too cold out to ride and tune. I probably am going to soon discover I cant get to where I need to be with the Maxtuner. Maybe Christmas will bring me a PC V? I been good. LOL
