I need someone to scan and post their installation instructions for the Low Profile Passenger Backrest (2S3-F84U0-V0-00).
I need to purchase a set of mounting bolts and also check that I get the right lengths.
If any one has a set that they don't need because they are also using the saddle bags send me a PM.

I looked for mine. It's hid somewhere. I didn't look at the instructions when I put the set together. I can tell you the hex head bolts are 2 1/8" long. Can't remember the pitch. If you can't find the info before hand, when I get to town, I'll stop by Ace and match up the threads. If I weren't off tomorrow, I could get the info at work. Sorry I can't be of much help right now.

I think they're 8mm x 2.125 stainless socket head cap screws..

First time response to a post, woot popped my cherry at last. Glad someone else posted this question, I have recently purchased the same backrest (thanks Randi) and it came with the correct bolts etc but I am not sure where it connects. I have removed the little alloy covers, found the hole and tried to insert the bolts but the sleeve inside the frame does not appear to have a thread. Any ideas anyone?

They are definitely threaded be careful to align properly or you will strip out threads. Can't imagine why they wouldn't be except a factory defect. Give it another try and align straight should work fine.
I have the long bolts for the saddle bags and need to get the shorter one for use with just the backrest.
Please measure the bolts for me. Do you have the installation instructions?
