TOPIC: Knee Slider Question

Knee Slider Question 1 year, 7 months ago #1

I bought a Dainese suit a while back with knee sliders but would like to remove the knee sliders. Was wondering if anyone knows if there is anything on the market I could buy to cover up the velcro patch on the knees when I remove the knee sliders? Any help or opinion is apreciated.

The easiest, and probably cheapest, way to go would be to buy some velcro at the fabric store and cut out a couple of pieces in the shape of the knee patch.

You would have the back of the velcro exposed, which wouldn't be all that great looking, but I assume you want to protect the velcro part of your expensive riding suit.

Just put some velcro on some of your favorite embroidered patches and use those. Make several sets and mix it up ! That way you'll always be sporting a new message at the stop lights !

Leave them on. They look like you mean business AND should you ever go down they will give you that much more protection. AND ALSO, lean that bike over! DRAG SOME KNEE!!!

In Germany you can have leather covers from Dainese, partno.1999879

Even if you cant get to draging a knee hold the sliders to the pavement and rub them down a little make it look good

I was looking for something like those covers but in black leather so they look like part of the suit. Great find any way. Oh, well.
Guess I'll just have to take tjohnsen's advice and start dragging the knees, or maybe just scrape the sliders a bit so they look good.

If you check ebay I'm sure you can get some used sliders so at least it will look like you're a dragger.

Or better yet go out and rail that beast.
