Has anyone tried removing the star badges off the air inlet scoops , it looks like it's just stuck on . I would assume the clear coat on the aluminium scoops would also be under the badges ??? .

Yes stuck on with double stick tape. Very tough double stick tape so pry firm but careful they come right off. Little paint thinner to remove sticky and clear coat protected.
Good luck |

Someone told me that fishing line with a hair dryer works pretty good. The badges are glued on with some sort of monkey snot.

Yup. just pull em off or use fish'n line, Dental floss, maybe warm em' up a little with a hair dryer( not heat gun).
Alittle wax or wd40 to remove any stick'em gasket. ( goo gone works too) I prefer wd40 for removal of stickers and stuff. Use s100 wax works great too!! Haven't tried pledge for glue removal but it sure shines things up nice!! Mike D |

Hey DDDD,
Here is a thread that you might find interesting. I have some scratches in my clear coat, and I'm going to try Pokeynose's polish method. www.starvmax.com/forum/12-general-vmax-d...imit=10&start=20 |
