Hey guys. Looking for a low kilometer 09 VMAX here in Australia. I was watching one at a dealer in VIC with only 840km on the clock but it looks like they've taken it down.
Anyone selling or know of one for sale, please let me know, thanks!

Their scarce as hens teeth mate.
The only one I know of sold second hand, was in Western Australia 6 months ago.
2009 black model (the fastest)for $24,000 Stock Standard.
Just keep looking. If you find one don`t f--K around as it will go quick. Their worth the money.
The reason they are scarce is because they are an amazing piece of machinery. Even if I wanted another bike I would not sell mine ever.

24k? Damn, not bad.
I check the usual sites often, bikesales etc, and there's one in WA 4,000 km for $27,500, aswell as one in a VIC dealership with 16,000 for $27,000. I also remember seeing one in the trading post for $25,000 with 9,900 km. I still have a few pennies to scrape together so ill keep looking.

I have been keeping an eye on the prices myself and they are always around 26 - 27 K, even though I hate second hand bikes I cannot force myself to buy one of those red bikes, just looks turd!

My dealer cannot even get his hands on a 2011 model that is grey until they sell all those red bikes that nobody wants...

I have contemplated getting one of the red bikes and buying the black panels for it that my dealer recons he can get me for about 1800 bucks...

just going to wait a little longer and hope the 2011 or 2012 become available, I can live with the grey bike and or the flat black one but the red just does not do it for me..

I know what you mean, I've seen a few red ones for sale, not a fan. I'm sure you could paint/ powdercoat the panels for less than 1,800 though. Im not sure if I wanna drop the full $31k on a new one...as nice it would be, the used ones are expensive enough! Pitty I missed out on that 840km one, hopefully the add just ran out.

Found another 2, both 2010. New one in VIC for $33,000. (Yeah right) and a demo in WA 800km $29,990 EGC.
Does Australia not even have a 2011 bike yet?

Apparently they do have the 2011 bikes in the warehouse but will not release them until all the red 2010 models are sold.....and only God knows when that will happen, also they refuse to discount the 2010 models to move them on....I heard they have about 10 left to go.

BTW I live in WA, is that demo at a dealership in Perth? or is it a private sale?

Ok thanks mate, that price is a bit steep considering you still have to pay all the rip off government charges on top of that..

Might go for a drive down to Bunbury anyway just to have a look.

Joe cash is "King" nowadays.
I`m sure if you play hardball on the price they will come around. They need to move bikes quick as possible these days. Depending on milage and scratches etc, You should get it for a few grand less

You will probably be like most of us and customise anyway. It is like an addiction once you get one anyway


Go in low I think the price is too dear anyway. (considering the markets at the moment)

The black one that was sold in Perth 6 months ago was black, standard and low KLs for $24000 and the shop owner has a black 2009 himself. It was a very good buy. A good starting point anyway with the other. If you got it for 2 grand less than they are asking it would be a good buy still.
