I suck with pictures ~ so badly that I quit taking a camera; it'd just get dirty'n banged up in me saddle bags. However, Hiway 3 along southern Canada from Vancouver is gorgeous.

I'd say mid May. Early May is too much risk to run into snow at high elevations and also would cut us NorCal guys off from the preferred return route.
I wonder if we should simply reverse the trip next year. That way we get a new perspective and it would put the Vegas trip (long strech) all the we in front of the ride for the SoCal crew. Just a thought.
