I know it sounds like a long time, but believe me time flies.

Get ready for the 2010 VMax Fest at Route 129, Deals Gap aka the Dragon.

I went there for the Warrior Fest in 2006 and before that in 2004. It is an awesome location and you are going to meet the best people of 2 wheels out there.

We will be heading out from the West Coast. Some 2500 miles. Last time 5 of us did the one way trip in 36h!

I have gotta see this. Only 8 hours away for me. I used to go up there monthly with my Rock Crawler Jeep. I should have done this run on my Warrior. Guess I'll have to do it on the Liner. I do drag my pipes now cause I am lowered 2 inches.

I envy you guys.......I would have a V-Max but the dipshits where I deal said it stopped production when I inquired about it back in 2006. They didint even mention the 2009 ideas in the works.

I sent Chuck (the owner) a heads up for you guys. He is on the outskirts, maybe a little ways out, but he is there and he loves motorcycles.

FX, count me in; I look forward to meeting a bunch of fellow forum folks. We are so fortunate to have such incredible riding locations. I have riden it a number of times and intend to do so again this season since I live near Raleigh, which is only about 5 hours east of the Dragon's Tail. I plan on running a good portion of the North Georgia mountains this coming week since I understand that's an great ride as well.

There are alot of great roads to explore in the area. It's best to plan it early in the season because it can get quite crowded when all the groups show up. Thats why Warriorfest is in April. This year it was the 18th thru the 25th. We actually had Saturday thru Wednesday at the Dragon almost all to ourselves. There where only about a dozen bikes to contend with and it was heaven. And no LEO's.
Some of the group stays at the Kickstand and others stay in the area motels. I normally stay at a little motel a few minutes from the camp and just roll in to party in the eve. I'll post up some more pertinate info.
Those of you that can make it will have a great time.
