I want to purchase a set of 2012 side covers, because from what I understand the finish was changed slightly to look more like the scoops (although I have not seen them in person....but they do have a different part#).

Anyway, if someone has a 2012 and is thinking of painting their covers black (or some other color) I would trade you for mine and throw in $150. My covers are near perfect, with just a couple of very light scratches that would never show when painted.

Or....I will sell mine out right for $150 if someone is looking for a set.

You do not need to sell or trade yours, all they did with the 2012 models is clearcoat them. My dealer has a 2012 on thier showroom and it looks to me all difference is the clearcoat. For the 09-11 models it is left in raw stainless.
