Need cash to send my son to school. LOVE the bike, but priorities reign supreme...

2009 Yamaha VMAX 3,xxx miles. Not putting exact miles because it's summer and still riding it.

This is a very special and unique opportunity. Why? Because this bike has had all the RIGHT STUFF added to it. Gone are the gaudy and huge mirrors, rear fender and taillight assembly, stock turn signals, handlebars, and handgrips. The bike LOOKS amazing and everyone you meet will say "nice bike" or "what is that" or (my favorite so far) "did you steal that from Batman?" Of course all the stock pieces that were removed are INCLUDED with the sale.

Now with a bike like this, looks are NOT everything. So... the heavy and power stealing catalytic converter has been removed and replaced with an "X-Pipe". Yes, it's louder but not obnoxious. I'm a mature 50 year old and I LOVE how this thing sounds. That mod "opened it up" to breath out the backside, then the stock air intake system was removed and replaced with a K&N "Monster Air" system to open up the front end so it would breath better. To control all this additional air and flow, a Commander IV box was added to dial in the air fuel mixture. End result? Well, put it this way - immediately it was discovered that we needed a larger back tire. That's right, the stock tire and wheel were removed and replaced with a factory replacement wider wheel and the "stickiest" tire I could find.

How's it run? I don't have words for that. Superlatives like "awesome" "incredible" "insane" come to mind, buy hey I'm 50 so to borrow a phrase from the younger set... OMG!!

There is WAY OVER $20,000 invested in this bike. You get it for $13,500 and you get all the parts. You could sell the parts you don't want to keep around and probably get thousands of dollars for them by posting them on the VMAX forum.

I have tons of pictures, this only lets me post a few. If you want to see more, then I can email them. I have close-ups and pictures of all the parts that come with it. It's basically EVERYTHING that came off the bike. Somebody could make a few grand just by buying the bike, turning it to stock and selling all the performance stuff. I just don't want to mess with it. I need the cash right away to pay for school for my son.
