If you remove the rubber grommets from under the seat then it won't fit tight against the locking guides on the front of the seat where the "seat's "ears" are.

I have already tried it...

And I have actually butchered the seat, cutting more and more foam and I have gained quite a lot with regards to height, but our main problem in oour case is actually the width of the retched thing. If you take it off altogether, you still hit the frame.
Aftermarket suppliers have a difficult task ahead of them, but I really hope they come up with something, because I'd hate to have to order a new one from YOMAMA....
