TOPIC: looks vs. functionality - fender eliminator

looks vs. functionality - fender eliminator 4 years 2 months ago #1

the rear fender extension also works as a 'mud' protector on rainy days for passenger and bike alike. I wonder what will be the splash pattern w/out the extension... anyone has tried running the shorter fender set-up on a wet day?

ny1max,

Tx very much for the contribution!! That is what i thought... any ideas on the passenger's back??

it seems that the passenger would also be exposed to some of that mud splash... yes?

best,
Amaury

I am inclined to think that regardless of manufacturer the issue is on the measurements of the fender eliminator and force created from the rotation of the wheel.

If you move it back more it will stop some of the spray . also a little more bend on the plate will stop some also .
