TOPIC: Mirror bolts... mount accessories or plug holes

Ok, I saw some questions earlier about where to find right and left bolts to plug the mirror holes after replacing the mirrors. Also, I wanted to use the holes to mount my gps.
I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere... So I asked a company a few weeks ago to make 10 sets each of the following: Right hand Thread: Qty: 10 - M10-1.25X15 Socket Head Qty: 10 - M10-1.25X15 Tapered Socket Left hand Thread: Qty: 10 - M10-1.25X15 Socket Head Qty: 10 - M10-1.25X15 Tapered Socket I am keeping two sets, but would like to sell the rest (I paid $15 a set.) They are made from Titanium... Chrome and Stainless just didn't meet the quality standards set forth by the VMax itself. Here are pics of the prototypes: I will have the actual bolts Monday or Tuesday. The only difference is these are 16mm long... The actual bolts are 15mm... so they fit perfectly flush with no accessories. PM Me if your interested. I would like $20 per set (1 left, 1 right thread) specify square or tapered head. + shipping + $5 shipping. I will send them 3 day FedEx. |

Another option is to purchase clutch side holder for mirror which is what I did 10.50 US, That way you can install many different mirrors or whatever without screwing ( No pun intended)with left hand threads.

In case you have nothing to mount for now:
Just flip the front brakets upside down. The holes will be pointing down - no need to cover them up and the top looks much cleaner. |

If you look at the mirror stem holder on the clutch and front brake they are identical except for the thread direction.
