i've beat that, LOL. i think anyone who thinks theyre getting 140+ miles per tank is full of crap! my 750 honda magna barely got 40mpg highway. it had a 3.3 gal tank and i could go around 100 miles on a tank	Mattness OFFLINE Expert Max Posts: 508 Thank you received: 140

While I'm not B_M, but is it possible that you overoiled the K&N Filter ??

Your not supposed to really "oil" it. You only need a a little Oil Spray, from 10" to 12" and only one shot. If you Kinda soaked the Filter in Oil, it wil be clogged ... Not good for a better Mileage. Also, you gotta face the Fact, if you put on a better flowing Air Filter, and cruise around in the lower 20 Percent of the Throttle Position, the Bike will consume more Gas. That's because the ECU actually operates within the TP-Range and adds more Fuel to the the Mixture.
