I talked with a mechanic that recently checked the valve clearance on a 2009 Vmax at the first recomended service date. He said the intake valves were good to go but he found several exhaust valves that were tight. He claimns that they definately need to be checked at the recommended service schedule. So who knows??

:jumping: Got my bike back today, All seems good.

The Mechanic showed me the sensor that got broken, the old air filter and the spark plugs.

The plugs looked alright, nice and clean, and all had the same color. The air filter was a bit grubby from the dust at the Tas Rally as I suspected.

Got a 160km ride in while the weather was good and a couple of laps of town, It was like having a new Vmax all over again after the 3 weeks.
