Getting ready to change the tires and wanted to know what others think about what's good or NOT! I do want to keep the 200 but would like alittle more traction!

I've tried them all & you can't beat the Metzler ME880. FX says the Bridgestone is better in the twisties, but I've had no problem in any type of street condition, or riding. Till someone else comes into the market, your choices are really limited. 3 front tires and 11 rears later, these are my findings & my opinion only..

Bridgestone, Avon, & Metzler (forgot about the Shinko) these are your choices.

I would agree with BM on the Me 880 being a good tire. I went for a ride with MAXOUT yesterday, he still has the stock tire and I have the ME 880. We swapped VMAXES and his seemed to break loose quicker than mine. He also thought the ME 880 might have a slightly larger contact patch than the stock Bridgestone. I ran the ME 880 on my 05 and I thought it was the best tire that I have tried.

I put the avon on not long ago, got maybe 800 miles on it now. The turn in is sharper as its a taller tire than the stock bridgestone, but it doesnt feel as planted. Does spectacular burnouts, quirley and screaching. I was never really impressed with the either of these tires in the corners, but the bridgestone was a bit more confident than the Avon.
