TOPIC: Spark Plugs

Spark Plugs 1 year, 12 months ago #1

Can someone post a picture of spark plug socket that was suppose to come with bike?, Mine was missing. The front left plug looks to be a bitch to get at, especially if you don't have tiny hands.

Mine was located between front seat and passenger pad in its own case.
Lift seat look just behind fill cap under rear pad.

When my 09 was shipped the plug wrench was in a separate case and not mounted with the other tools in the kit on the bike. It's possible the Yamaha tech. doing the set up left it off the bike if it is missing.

That is exactly what my dealer's mechanic did...and then he could not find it...so I had to buy one using the PN in the Parts Catalog...Yamaha PN: 2S3-28110-00, Tool Kit 2...
