I finally got the beast on the dyno, some of you folks are getting far higher numbers than this,175hp, and 111 ft pounds of torque mods done are big air power commander auto tuner V&H exhaust, regardless of the numbers I'm very happy with the results, throttle response, and the torque is awesome

Cool you got the max to a dyno with your Vance and Hines. Not many of us have done it. I got mine done a while back without a PCV and my numbers where much lower. Also it was done in 5th gear where there is the governor to put into the equation.
I've got questions of course. 1. Do you have a top speed eliminator? 2. Did you use a custom map or just with your autotune map? 3. Was this done just for a baseline? 4. Was this done in 5th gear? 5. How many pulls did you do? I guess all of this have a lot to do with getting good or accurate numbers to compare to other dyno results out there. Oh, one more question of course by us Vance And Hines owners...... Are you willing to share your Map for others to compare?? Thanks, Mike D |

Vance and Hines is a mid pipe set up. No cross connection though...

Thanks, Mike D Hi Mike, hopefully i can answer some of your questions. 1) I didn't have the top speed installed during the dyno testing, i had problems with it and took it out, I'll track down Oliver when he returns from holidays 2)in regards to the map they said they put in their own map, and he disconnected the auto tuner before he started the dyno. 3)my baseline numbers are shown on the dyno sheet 169 hp and 106ft pounds of torque. 4)i do believe it was done in 5th gear. (4th gear for sure) 5) he must of done at least 5 pulls 6) i'd be more than happy to share any map/info that i have with whoever is in need, i'll just need some advice on how to get the map from the bike onto this forum or PM i hope this helps |

Maybe the new Site will let you upload it to this post.??
Look at this thread to do it the around the way, way... You just need to change the file xtension to txt or jpg.. anyone who downloads it will just need to change it back to pvm to work. Let me see if I can load the one I have from V& H here.. Mike D Doh, as soon as I hold my mouse over the "add file" button, it doesn't list PVM files .. |

I wonder what map of "their own" they would put in or did they make a map ??
I'm new to this Dyno Stuff and would think they would've used a map made by your auto tune and or ajust a flat map ..... if that's how that works too!! Did you get your A/F numbers too?? mike D |
