I don't know why you guys bother to get into it with other people about your gen2 vs this or that , Everyone thinks something is faster than something else anyway , As I have said before I love my gen 1 and I really like the gen 2 fit and finish is ++++ but to get into a forum pissing contest is not worth the time. The gen 2 is fast but the times you guys post up are well (No disrespect) not the fastest at the strip :( . Be happy with your bike and who the F cares what anyone else thinks

I wonder if a uncrated, B-king in 15 years will be worth 20,000 grand?
Should be a rare bike. I'm sure it will still be considered ugly by 2027.

We aren't trying to be the fastest at the track. Just fast at the track. If we wanted to be fastest we'd spend the time and money to do so. Just having fun, a little competitiveness, and trying to be as fast as we can with what we've got "today". Who knows what tomorrow holds. People are always going to bring up the price of the max and the fact that there are faster, cheaper bikes out there. I DIDN'T WANT ONE OF THOSE!!!!!!!! Yes I could have gotten two busa's or 14's or Gxer's. I didn't want one. I've spanked a few at the track though with our not the fastest times.

He doesn't like to remember getting beat by one of our "not the fastest times". So he went out & spent another 3 grand or so to prevent it from happening again.. :p Basically stock Vmax whoops up on Busa.. Nothing new there ;)

I have ridden a BKing. Great bike, handles amazingly for such a powerful bike.

But there is no emotion in its acceration. It all feels 'flat'. All lineair but no speed rush.
And at 80 mph your head will be torn from your neck. No wind protection at all. Putting on a larger screen will definately ruin the design.
Because of the seat pipes in back it is impossible to take any large luggage with you.
So its not very practical for long trips. My conclusion was 'stick with my gen1' till the new vmax was introduced.

Hey Bob you allways have to go there( beat 1 out of 3) you Think you know something (Just stick with Dish network ) As far as a Vmax whooping a Busa ,I will put down a money to anyone with a Stock Vmax to beat a Stock gen 2 Busa , And I mean Bone Stock at the track ( I have a friends brother here that runs a stock red gen 2 just a strap that runs 9.4 every time) (Mark , Joe's Brother at Island) , I have yet to see a vid of a real rider on a Busa Vs A Vmax ,(and don't post Lee's Vid vs some nube) I have been to the track many times and it seems that you guy's like to race each other back to back or find some squid to race , Yes I have a 8 second Busa so what? most here have pissed away way more $$$ then I did on fing Rims, Brocks pipes, reflashes and other BS and still run high 9's Add it up :money: , All I was pointing out is that like your bike and stop the pissing matches and street racing , Will it take two guys racing in high winds getting f up or killed to wake you up IMHO

Mark, thank you for your candor..
I'm right here and this is the smack talk section, so any time you want to match wits with me (i'll only use HALF mine to make it fair) then lets go! If you were honest (something you've never been) about how much money you've spent to get that 8 second Busa, you know as well as I do, that's it's more than a new Vmax. Your turn literacy wiz.. Lets GO Busa boy!

I see what you mean Brett.. They're everywhere. .. Fun to point em out tho ;)

In the real world, I honestly think the V-Max is pretty hard to beat in doing what it's designed to do. Red light to Red light racing. 0 to 100, there is little that will keep up with the behemoth because of it's design. After that, all the V-Maxes advantages become dis-advantages. Yes, pro rider to pro rider, the V-Max does not fair as well in heads up drag racing. On the street, average rider vs average rider, you have to admit the V-Max is a very formidable foe. Secondly, there are a blue billion of the Tupperware bikes. I love them as much as the next guy, but when it comes to owning something, I dare to be different. I akin the sport bikes to Shelby Mustangs, SRT Challengers, and SS Camaro's of the auto world. I akin the V-Max to a Cadillac CTS-V. Yea, the sport cars may be faster, but I still have a Cadillac. It fit's me and that's what really matters. Anything beyond that, I am indifferent.
