On the cross town again in traffic, stopped in the left lane waiting for construction merge and a Bike pulls buy me running about 20 mph or so, revs his engine...(Scared the shit out of me!) He merges into traffic ahead... we both get back up to traffic speed and get unto the top deck of the crosstown heading east. He is about 1/4 mile ahead at this point. I get up to about 85 to slowly catch up to him... He was going slower than posted to wait... (HE HE) NO cars ahead for at least 1/2 mile!!! He is in the far right lane, I pull up next to him in the middle lane and pace him... I give him the thumbs up and he does the same... I down shift in to 3rd (both running about 75 or 80) he does the same... He nails it just a fraction of a second before me. He jumps about 1/2 bike (as I am getting on mine) thats all she wrote!!!! I pull him about 2 to 3 bikes and then it is dead nuts until 140 we both get out of it at that point.. I reach back and pat my right bag in saying don't fuck with this Ol' Gurl anymore!!! HA HA... Once again he fades off behind me and takes the first exit....

The boy just wont learn....

06 busa 6 inch or so stretch with aftermarket exhaust (more mods possible but he did not stop to chat )....

Jody, my buddy in SC that went 9.80's a couple weeks ago was telling me that he let some of his buddies who happen to own a Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki dealership in Florence SC (Millers Yamaha) they have been drag racing sport bikes for over 30 years, they actually built my Top Gas motor for me back in the day... anyway The owner Donnie, rode Jody's bike , he had never ridden a Gen II before, sold a couple but never ridden one... Jody said he had the VMax smile on his face when he got back from the demo ride. He said it FEELS like a 200 RWHP + bike, and they have built many plus... He said Donnie was amazed with the bike... So the moral to the story, UNLESS you have ridden the beast you just don't get it at all.. Even if you have ridden almost every other kind of bike there is...

That's a fact Brett.. People just don't understand that Torque is King on the street Way to have some fun at the Busa's expense!
