Even tho Max is in disarray and missing a scoop, I still like to ride & this morning was no different. I woke up hungry for some breakfast & headed down to the local fast food strip. After grabn a McMuffin and a McGriddle, I headed on home. I made the left hand turn onto the main drag to my house & in front of me a few cars was a familiar bike. The twin mufflers poking out from under the seat & the Electrolux Vacuum cleaner scoops up front confirmed what it was as I went by in the left lane. I'm sure he had no clue what I was riding as there was no scoop on the side he could see, but I watched him in my rear view mirror. At the upcoming light I usually go straight, but in the rear view I could see he was turning right. I got into the right turn lane and made the turn with just 1 car between us. I deliberately poked a bit in 1st gear and the car was behind me when he swung out around the car to the left. I waited to see if he was gonna get on it and sure enough here comes the B-king! I eased more throttle open & then pinned it as I caught 2nd gear. We were side by side as my Avon searched for traction, but I know he saw me fishtailing & knew I was spinning. I banged 3rd and it was all over. Gotta go.. buh bye Mr B-King.. Passing between the Boston Market & the Mall at triple digits isn't very wise, but I wasn't gonna pass up the challenge. I got out of it quickly & the whole thing was over in 5 or 6 seconds but enough happened for him to know NOT to f*@k with me ever again. I wasn't sporting my usual BAD-VMAX tag, so I bet you he still doesn't even know what hit him. I guess in all fairness I should put it back on, so they'll know what they're pickn on Anyway, another fond memory etched in my brain forever.. Thanks Yamaha! B-King for breakfast, lunch or snack, Leaves you wanting MORE!

Well you can certainly believe that he would say anything, and he may have decided that discretion was the best decision. I even have my neighbor who rides a 09 Super Glide brag that he can keep up with the mighty VMax. Of course all the guys tell him they want a race between us and they want him to put money where his mouth is.

Now you need to add a "kill" icon on the VMax.

I was riding at the gap the last few days with some old friends. And 1 of them got a Bking a couple months ago. I spent 5 days trying to get him to "compare the bikes speed" . He's a pretty good rider but he would never oblige me. I would have been happy to a straight line race even.

And this time you got away with it

Seriously, you must never put another fellow motorcycle rider in disaster ( ).
