Kevin, have fun riding your baby-beast home!

Oh, and don't pass any gas stations once the light comes on! It's a very hungry beast!

Can't wait to read his log haha! :vacation:

yeah I don't have a smart phone. Maybe it's a good reason to get one(if only I can convince the wife of that haha). Yes sir I did find work, not just work but a dream job with a lot of room to grow (imagine that in this day and age).

Well I'm back on the hunt for a 2nd gen Vmax. My wife was in a pretty major car accident(not her fault) she was car pooling and long story short Is loosing her left foot(surgery is tomorrow), and will have many months of reconstructive surgery on her legs. The doctor said she will be able to walk within 8-9 months from now with lots of physical therapy. When this happened I basically put the new vmax purchase on hold and still have had the idea of wating for some time. My wife however wants me to get a new vmax. She wants me to be happy and understands riding is one of my true passions. Sorry for the long rant but at any rate I'm looking again...let me know what is out there please! My budget is right at 13k. Thanks all!

Hi Kevin, this must be a very difficult time for you and your family. You all must have been devastated when you heard the news. Recovering from such an injury takes a lot of courage & determination. Support her in any way you can.

Good luck on the surgery, tell her, even if I don't know her, I'll be rooting for a favourable outcome of it all. Let's hope she'll be walking again within the designated time. And preferable without too much pain or other misfortunes.

Really appreciate all the kind words guys/gals! She is a really strong woman. I can't imagine how I would be in that situation(I probably would be a whiny little sob about everything). My wife on the other hand is so positive. She knows the road ahead is difficult but she also knows she has me and her family to be there for her no matter what. Also prosthetic is being made as we speak(out of carbon fiber no less! Score! lol).

Why are all the good vmax's for sale in TX? That 09 looks really nice, low miles!
