TOPIC: From MT-01 to Vmax

Hi all!

3 weeks ago I made the transition from the mighty MT-01 to the incredible Vmax! I purchased the bike from 'Scale' who I had met through riding with 'VmaxOz' and 'neno17' .

My new ride is #49/150 of the initial release through Australia and New Zealand. I am fortunate to have picked up a bike that has been lovingly cared for and meticulously maintained by Rick, the previous owner.

I had discovered these guys riding the Gen2 Vmax when an attempt to put together a group in the 'Torque Sport' class was underway here in Melbourne. No formal club ever came out of it but every now and then an intense rumble of Vmax's and MT-01's could be heard making their way to some of the riding hotspots around Melbourne.

I am looking forward to continuing to meet more of the Vmax community. I can't believe I didn't get one sooner!

I am heading overseas for a two week holiday tomorrow which unfortunately means I can't ride the Vmax for that long.....bummer!!

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300 I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride...
