Ernie, congratulations on getting the new Max. It looks 'hot' in matt black!
Good luck on the mods, make her your own. And enjoy the hell out of her. Smoke some tires! |

Congratulations! She is beautiful. She takes after her daddy!
Can I buy your side covers please? Love how they match the scoops. |

Welcome. And take advantage of all the other Vmax riders in your proximity. Pretty cool getting other Vmax folks together.
Keep us posted on your experiences and impressions with the Vmax. Mike |

Welcome Ernie you have made a fantastic choice the Max gets in your blood and it calls to you it's amazing nothing else like
it on the Planet you officially ROCK now !!! Just a thought my VBF Allen and 20 + year riding buddy owns a 09 V Rod Night Rod and has the same paint Job as your "12" except it has 2 glossy black stripes right down the middle of the tank and fenders and it looks fantastic bet it would look even better on the max as well as protect the matte paint. |

Thanks very much to all for the warm welcome. 'Been in contact with a few of the DFW folks so far, hoping to get together (at least to meet-up) sooner rather than later!

Mike.....nice looking Midnight (also partial to the 2-1 setup).....I've got the same in an '09, looking forward to getting her back once the mods are done (one day I'll have the time and the inclination to do some of these things myself!)....somehow I seem to gravitate to the Midnight theme.....looks better IMHO and less chrome to deal with (apologies to all the chromoholics).I loved the warrior I had as well!! capt bob wrote: .... Bob, I'm sure I've seen pics of either that bike or one of about the same size with that paint.....maybe even on this site, just can't remember right now.....added to the bike, but still maintained the "blacked" look....very cool. |
