Welcome JD. Good to have another Aussie onboard.

Adelaide Hills are on my to do list.
My brother and I are in Melbourne and wannt to make a trip to Adelaide and maybe the Kangaroo Island as well. Maybe we can hook up for a ride in the future even though you are about 8 hours away. Cheers

Welcome to the Site and The Sickness JD. Everything you may need to know iz here. Just curious: how did you know to pick the mighty VMax??? Have you ridden a Gen2 yet??? If not, be careful w new tires on this Beast. B)

My wife and kids ran that river in Ga (The Chatooga) our College age river guide gave us a bio on the area
we were coming around a bend and the river slowed and he pointed to a bank of the river and a woods
area and said "thats where they filmed the love scene from deliverance) Always had a chuckle for Ned Beatty
after that Soooo Weeee.



From what i have seen you guys have some fantastic riding post up some pics when you get it

One of my best friends writes and tests bikes for a motorcycle magazine and he sung the praises of the 2009 Vmax so highly that a flame was lit back then which has steadily grown. I have not ridden the Gen2 Max but my due diligence has been extensive and I know I will not be disappointed. I have always been a Yamaha man and after giving a new Harley a go just for something different, I am really looking forward to owning an example of the Tuning Fork company's flagship bike.

Say the word cobber and I am there.

Failing that, we could share a beer or three at Phillip Island if you get down there for Moto GP or WSBK.

Any Idea how long before you get delivery of your bike J.D.?

Just curious, is your bike mag friend... Boris? Doesn't matter Who-ever it is, Shake the mans hand for sparking that fire :guitar: .
