From what I understand the route I am talking is very scenic. Which is really no surprise considering it is northern CO and Utah. My rider buddy has his eyes on a 2012 ZX14R. I found a dealer nearby that has one in their warehouse.

but I could not sway him enough. So in my case I will traveling solo. But it still will be very exciting for me

Boy I would head north to Laramie then take a left and take 130 the Snowy Range road thru the Medicine Bow wilderness area
on up thru Saratoga then up to I 80 and home , I lived in Boulder many years and rode all those roads on my old Z1 and that
has to be one of the best Maybe Pea Dawg can chime in he runs that area a lot and can give some insight on Gas stations and such
congrats on your "12" I envy you I miss the Rockies something fierce that will be an outstanding ride home no matter what way you go what a way to get to know your new Steed !
