Does your VIN# end in 0003? or is it the side plate Number? If it is the VIN# then you have the 3rd made, and if it is the side plate# then you have the 3rd ordered...Hope this helps. Pokey. He siad his VIN # ended in 00003 witch as far as I know means he has the 3rd VMAX made for the U.S. It is doesn't mean he has the 3rd VMAX produced in the world just the 3rd for the U.S. Welcome to the forum Home of the VMAX! vmaxmercer I thought the ones for the US were the first produced. No? Mike D |

Thanks for the great welcome everyone!
Some info about me and my toys: I currently own a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa which I purchased back in 2007. It has been chromed, stretched, lowered, piped, etc. I just purchased a 2009 VMAX and yes it has serial number 000003. Yes it is the fastest color and the fastest year. This is a Canadian bike that I purchased so I'm really not sure if the VINs in Canada are in the same pool as the VINs in the USA but I THINK they are so this would be #3 in at least North America. If anyone has better info on this that would be appreciated. I am the 2nd owner of the bike. It was ordered on the first day in 2008 by a great guy in Quebec that just doesn't ride the VMAX enough so he sold it to me. It has 13k on it now and is completely 100% stock. Yes, the bike also has tuning forks (are you all jealous? So, I have already spent easily 10 hours of reading on this forum and the info is great. I am already into modding the bike and have contacted UFO and purchased some stuff which you will hear about when it is on my bike. UFO also told me to look under the kickstand and there is a production number saying what number this came off the assembly line as (for the whole world). I'll check and let you know. PS. My best friend has a B-King and is telling everyone he is faster than me I will post some pics and get an avatar up right away. |

Best friend.=?!
I'll put it like this way. If he gets the jump on you. You will have to reel him in. If you get the jump on him tell him to be prepared to watch your tail light for a long time. |

Welcome and congrats, you obviously made the right Decision finally.
Let your Buddy talk ... most likely, you'll show him the bare Truth sooner than he suspects. Let the modding begin oh, one Thing, we here really don't need to hear much more about the U F O Parts anymore, really. |

Welcome and congratulations on you new bike Craig.
#000003 huh, that's pretty awesome. Especially if you got the frame badges to go with it. I'm still upset that I didn't get mine. I didn't even know I was supposed to when I bought it from the dealer. |

Still not sure if the US got em first though. www.starvmax.com/forum/general-vmax/1233...-united-states-order And this old thread with all of our Dates... too funny how we were all in dire need for our bikes to come in. www.starvmax.com/forum/general-vmax/9560...t=10&start=190#22717 Also, Were there not some demo bikes I thought some folks got to try out first too??
