TOPIC: Hello glad to be hear, finally.

Hello glad to be hear, finally. 11 months 1 week ago #1

I bought a M109 3 years ago in lieu of getting a Vmax. I've enjoyed riding it but always new it wasn't the same. I purchased a new 2012 last Wednesday and selling M109 to a friend. Poor guy, I hope he likes the addition of dust into his diet, lol. I must say I already like the attention this bike gets.

I have been on this forum a lot the last few days. I'll have 400 mi on the bike by tomorrow am. I've already ordered parts for clutch mod and spring retainer from Rick. The Vmaxguru will be seeing a new order next week. I can't wait for the first service so that the beast can be released.

Hi Ed,

I was also a x M109R owner before the Max, not a bad bike except for the clunky gear box....clunk clunk...enough to send you crazy, also the power the Max has compared...is no comparison.

Good move friend..

The smoothness of the gear box is one of the first things I noticed. That and the relative ease it can spin the tire.
