Hi everyone,
Just registered on the community - better late, than never, being a big Vmax fan for the last 10 years it took me several ones to get this project complete to my satisfaction - here some details: 2000 Vmax LT, fully tuned to 1300cc with Japanese pistons, stronger chains, new bearings, harder valve springs, piston rings, bolts and etc. Heads ported and polished,Barnet clutch, compression ratio increased, full suspension R1 upgrade on the front, 18 inch wheels and tyres, Japanese aftermarket exhaust, Stage 7 Dyno Jet Kit, aftermaket tail, strengthened rear shaft, solid motor mounts and etc mods to result in a mean, solid, loud rocket. |

Welcome to the forum. You really have a unique Max there and made it your own. I have not seen some modifications like yours before. Glad to have you as part of this comunity. Always good to have new members sharing the excitement of this motorcycle.

Welcome here. You did a great job in modding the bike. It looks great, but I bet it is fast as well.

Welcome to the forum....that's one heck of a ride you have. Country in the pics not too bad either! One of the great things about this forum more so than the other bike-specific forums I'm a member of......seems the VMax is really an international bike/community, and it's great to travel vicariously through those folks. Heck, I've been helped via pm by members on at least 4 continents, and it's just darn interesting to read about or see videos of rides from other countries.

On the project I got support from Sean - Morley Muscle USA with supply of most of the parts, luckily here we have another enthusiast-mechanic who did the technical part, and the design was my choice. Had in the past a 1998 V Max, moved to Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R ( proved to be too fast for our roads ), so went back to my favorite bike again, trying to get the best of both V-Max and race bikes. Haven`t had a chance to try the new age V-Max yet, but my current set-up has all the power one would need, combined with the stability of rail train, plus V8 deep rumble bonus PS: Country is great too |
