Welcome BW,

Love the new bike feel......but it might be more fun buying a slightly used but well cared for '09 that is selling in the $12k to $13K range and mod the bud-dinka out of it for less than MSRP on an '013

...there are always folks out there that buy 'em and find them too scary to break in....go figure

What ever you do...post some pics :photo: and hurry, the summer is flying by

Black Widow, First off, Congratulations! Your gonna be  happy as a mouse in a cheese factory.

I totally understand the "Very little sleep in the next few days" line. I was like that for a few months.

Sleeping doesn't get much better after you get the bike either, most likely be out riding it when you should be sleeping, or looking up new mods on starvmax.com...lol.

I just hope you get some nice weather for when the bike arrives.

Don't forget to give us all a first ride story when you take it out for your first lap of town.

Pokey.

Congratulations! I bought my 2012 about a month ago. Not that I think it's better but the flat black seems very suiting for the VMAX. I get compliments all the time. Looks of envy even more often. :)

I am dating a girl that says she "prefers Harley Davidsons". The problem is she doesn't know any other models of other bikes. And has zero clue what the VMAX is or it's rep. Surprise huh? :) I'm looking forward to finding a VROD at a traffic light with her on the back of mine sometime :)

Widow you've entered into a very special and unique experience. There is only one VMAX.

Just make sure she has a really good grip or the Vrod will not be the only thing left at the stop light :scary: !
