Hi Mike welcome. You are definitely correct about the people on this site being very knowledgable and willing to share info. I just got my 2010 red vmax a few month's ago and anytime I have had a question there are always plenty of people with great advice. I live in Dutchess county NY. Not sure where you are but if your any where close by maybe we can go for a ride

Hey...WELCOME!

Ya did good...it's all about the "Red".

Some guys who got the first black ones starting putting some red parts on them.....makes it go faster...but they still deny it and say the black is faster. Just keep looking you'll see......a little red here and a little red there.....even a little "RED" Guru emblem.....and there AINT'T NO DENYING THAT!B)

So don't let them tell you otherwise!

BTW....Yamaha even hid some "red" flakes in the black ones too!
