Hello all Vmax ladies! I love my Vmax and enjoy every second riding her. She is 10 years old and I named her "Silver Queen". When the right moments arrive, she sometimes turns into.... ... "Killer Queen" Are there any of you ladies out there that want to join my for a ride? Or just want to chare some Vmax experience with me? |

Hi Silver Queen!
Welcome to the site! I am sure vmaxbabe will chime in her quickly. She is a fast one too! I really enjoyed riding with her last summer! I hope there are many more ladies joining in. If there is enough interest, we might just have to add a 'Just for Her' corner/board... Thanks for joining - we are looking forward to many posts and stories from you! Oliver aka Frankenstein |

Hi Silver Queen, welcome on this board.
I agree with you, riding the Max is a real party every time you open the throttle of that beast. Do you use your Vmax for holidays as well, or just for touring? I see you're from Canada. Are there more Lady Vmax riders in your neighborhood? And how did you come to choose this particular type of motorcycle? I hope more ladies will join in here, but I suspect it'll stay very much a men's world... Luckily Heather joined the guys from the USA in Italy last summer. And I really enjoyed riding with them too. And they did a very good job at that, because they're all 'chopper' riders and they handled the supersports really well. I can tell you from experience that's quite a difference, as well as in in posture as in handling. But anyway, glad you joined up. Stay in touch. If you want to see more of me, check out my website: www.vmaxbabe.nl I'm afraid it's all in Dutch, but there's plenty of pictures to see! |

Hej Silver Queen!
Mvh Bengt;) |

Hi I have always loved the look of the v max but have not ridden one yet. Got a new blade at the moment but would like a second bike for touring. Would you recomend this bike and how heavy are they to move around, had a hayabusa but easy to ride but hard to move if parked wrong.
Any advice greatfully recieved Cheers zizzy |

Welcome to you both to the site.
For zizzy....(all stock), the Max (580) weighs about 100 lbs more than the Busa (480) dry, and about 620 wet....but the Max's seat height is about 1.6 inches lower, lowering the center of gravity. Weight distribution of the Max is a lot lower than the Busa, so manuevering and even up-righting a dropped bike will be easier. On or off the bike, pushing from a dead stop is where you feel the weight....and push starting ain't fun either. Also, lowering a Max won't cost you a arm and a leg. Good Luck, Chris |
