Hi everyone! My name is Joey, and I'm a VMax-aholic. I ordered my VMax back in August of 08 while I was deployed to Afghanistan. I picked it up in February and was only able to ride it for one very cold weekend before I had to deploy again, this time to Central America. I'm due back on or about the 15th of October.
For some reason yesterday, I started in a slump about being away from home and away from the bike. So to cheer myself up, I went shopping on the internet for the bike. First thing was a helmet and jacket for my girl for when we ride (and she's taking the Safety course in October). I didn't stop there. Then it was a 240 wheel with the bearing kit and a Pirelli Diablo tire. Then a UFO lowering link for the rear suspension. Oliver's Monster Big Air intake stacks with the K&N filters. Ken's PCV with the power shifter. And finally a GoPro camera with all the mounts. Oh, and I've got my eye on the race ECU and those new Akra pipes. But wouldn't you know, I'm outta my slump! My bike and my girl. |

What a Legend! That's one way of doing it!
Mate you will be so busy when you get back home putting all that stuff on you won't get a chance to ride it again. My suggestion is: as hard as it will be not to put those mods on at once, just try not to and take your beast for a ride. Appreciate it for what it is and it will also give you a good baseline if the mods gave you your money's worth later It is so much fun playing with your ride. Its like Christmas every day !!! |

The plan is to add a little here and a little there. And it will be like Christmas for the 8 or nine months that I'm due to be home! Cheers! |

Thanks for your service, Mike D I don't count sheep at night, I count horses. 170 of them. My brother and I are both photographers. He took the pics shortly after I left as a present. Reminds me of what I have to look forward to. |
