I'll record one tomorrow, it's too late at night now...... it sounds like a funny car. My Gen 1 with a full Kerker and 2.5" race baffle sounds like a Vespa compared to it.

Sorry but anyway you look at it the cat can has to go. I am running a kick the cat with stock cans but am unhappy with it because as in posts above the stock cans need to be opened up or a larger diameter can used. I have taken to riding it straight out the header pipes without cans. It is not much louder than the Cat sass system without the baffels.

My old 93 with Kerker 4-2-1 and stage 7 with baffel removed is still the King of sound though. We had all three bikes together today at Sturgis dragway.

I removed the packing and internal pipe also when I installed Mike's X-Pipe (blueta71) not that freakin impersonators X-Pipe.

It sounded incredible.....but still not exactly what I was looking for.

After seeing the stock cans with that little pipe cut out of the end, I went out to the shop this morning and did what was just shown in the pics...cut the endcap pipe out and enlarge the two holes in the endcap...WOW! HOLY MOLY.......what a difference!

NOW the bike sounds like a dragster waiting at the tree to launch!

Oh don't do this if you have old people or sensitive neighbors near your home. You'll scare the crap out of them.

Fortunately I don't have neighbors that close.
