We want you all to know how much we need and appreciate you being here. We want as much participation here as possible, so it's time to explain a few things. If you're new to forums such as this, there's a well written "How to post" at the top of the forums section. This explains clearly how to post & we DO want you to participate. Next is the level of participation. Under your name is a title (of sorts) that corresponds to your level of participation, "Fresh max" being the new comers, up to "Senior max" for those that participate & have many posts. You can even personalize your membership here by adding an image to go with whatever name you're using. This is done in the "My Profile" section by uploading an image of your chosing. There is a place where you can share photos of your bike or last bike, or in some cases your "collection" of bikes in our Gallery section. A place to show off your bike(s). Upload any photos you choose in this area. Please keep it to bikes and photos of yourself. No nudity please!
Don't be bashful, jump in and participate! This is about YOU! Yamaha builds wonderful machines that affect ALL OUR lives. Sound off about it! Have some FUN here. It IS allowed!

Thanks for labeling me as crazy.! ...Just wanted to post a picture of my Dad here, he visits the sight as a guest all the time and enjoys all the different forums. This is the guy who had me riding on the tank of his BSA Goldstar when I was 3 yrs old and always made sure I had a nice bike to ride growing up.
Today July 4th is his birthday. Happy Birthday Dad I Love You.
You will be the the only one allowed to borrow my 09 gen2 VMAX.
He has owned 2 Vmax's and rode the heck out of them.

Bad_Max, Thanks again for the lift. oh! I was a very happy camper .Did I mention how light the bike felt. My can-am weights the same but the maxer could be moved with alot less effort. they let me push it around alittle. they stopped me just short of my truck bed, WHAT THE HECK, I WAS ONLY GONNA KEEP IT . LOL

Got the MT-01 home today. This bike is wicked..1700cc of the lowest end torque I have ever felt on a bike. This one is a 2006 with only 68 kilometers on the ODO. Passes the wheelie test with ease:) The fella I bought it from went thru a tremendous effort to import and title this bike in the USA and just never rode it????? Never thought I would get my hands on one of these after Yamaha decided to exclude it from the U.S. market. This will make the wait for My GEN 2 VMAX a whole lot easier. Look for me & this Bike at the MID-ATLANTIC STAR BBQ
I'm planning on going there SAT August 16th ......
