I guess that would be me and yes it is the same Vmax Ken sold. It was a pleasure to meet Ken in person and see his operation. I have to say I almost walked away with another bike after riding his custom ZX-14. It was amazing to see all three of the motorcycles I've been contemplating on purchasing in his garage. The other bike was the Bimota DB7. That is a beautiful motorcycle.
I am pleasantly surprised how the Vmax handles and drives. It reminds me of my old R1150R BMW. The riding position is similar but definitely not the power. The throttle control installed on the bike makes it easy to use. I have not smoke the tires yet. I do tend to have a light throttle hand though. I'm looking forward to seeing the other vmax owners in the South Bay. I'm happy to finally be a vmax owner. The first motorcycle I bought was almost a Vmax. I decided to go with a BMW instead because my friend had a Vmax and I could ride it anytime I wanted too. I have always had a soft spot for the Vmax. I haven't taken any pictures yet but will try to this weekend. The bike looks the same as Ken's pictures only its in my garage instead of his!  |

It was a big debate because I found a brand new Bimota DB6 for $19k. It was almost to good to pass up. One day hopefully I will be able to add a Bimota to my garage. Also the only person to see my Vmax so far has been my friend with the Gen1 Vmax. I told him he could have a ride. I can't wait to ride them back to back. |
