Hi Folks,
it's now almost four months since I've started reading this great forum and since I've begun to refer to this site as a profound resource of technical knowledge and experience! However, I did't think that I had something useful to contribute to the discussions, since I'm still desperately trying to become acquainted with my 2010 Max. In short, I apologize for being silent for so long and promise to improve in that matter My name is Tobias, I am 32 years old, married to a loving wife, and I live in the city of Munich, located in Southern Germany, which some of you might remember (or maybe even not remember Nonetheless, I did't let grass grow under my feet but started with some minor mods. So far I have installed: Python Motorsports Programme (Reservoir covers "Vmax", exhaust hangers, shock preload adj. cap, final drive vent cap, oil cap, frame badges, swingarm pivot caps "tuning fork", dampening caps), Exhaust end caps "9 Notch" (Otec) Indicators "Micro 1000 LED dark", front and back (Kellermann) Indicator and headlight bracket (Otec) Short levers (Pazzo) Handles "Lux" (Rizoma) License plate support (Lauterbacher) Handlebar "FatBar" (LSL) Handlebar end caps "Flat Caps" (Rizoma) Spoiler "RAM-AIR" (Exactrep) Tail light Smoke LED (?Ebay) Solo seat "Stiletto" (Yamaha) Grab bars (Otec) Mirrors "Reverse Retro" (Rizoma) I just wonder: Instead of gradually getting shorter, the wish-list is still growing continuously So, that's me and my Max Im looking forward to many fruitful discussions, sophisticated and baffling technical solutions and, which may be the most important, a lot of fun! Tobias |

SERVUS Tobias!
I am also in Germany, near Kaiserslautern. My wife's family is near GAP and her sister lives near DAH. We get down your direction fairly often. Hope to see you on the road or maybe at a "Vmaxtreffen" or 2. -Lee- |

Hi Guys,
thank you for the warm welcome and the positive feedback on my bike I really love the slogan of this page ('The sickness of the quickness'), because it summarizes in a comprehensive line what being a Vmax rider is about. 1. You have to be sick to some degree, spending that much money (and keep doing so) on such an incredible bike. 2. A strong Motorcycle may make you 'speedy', 'fast' or even 'rapid' sometimes. But, being equipped with such enormous power, the pure effortlessness of riding a Vmax makes you... well.... 'quick'! @-Lee-: Servus Tobias |

Hi Tobias and welcome. Your Vmax is looking good.
I live in the UK but get over to Munich occasionally. I will probably be over there for a week in September or October. Maybe meet for a beer. |
