TOPIC: just to say hello

just to say hello 1 year, 5 months ago #1

Hello

Im Tartopom, 33years old, geek and vmax lover.
I own a 2009 model and i'm pretty happy with it.
Hope i'll find a lot os resources here to help me to improve my beast.
Oh and by the way, i'm french, so i can help with some stuff you could not find in USA
I'm looking for an X-Pipe by the way...somebody have one to sell?

Cheers,

Welcome aboard! It's a pleasure to hear from you across the Atlantic! Make yourself at home and enjoy the bike! I wanted to vacation in France once, but when I stopped in Monte Carlo and ate at one of the resturants the beach view and girls caught my attention.

lol, Monte Carlo is quite close to France A small rock with a lot of rich people on it. You can see all the supercars you wants here.
I don't like it a lot but they have a nice aquarium

Welcome to the site! You'll find plenty of information here, including how to remove the 100 horsepower limitation of the French bikes

Hello,

The 100HP limitation is already gone since the beginning
Now i'd like to make more noise, so I open the EXUP and removed the airbox restrictor But i think the way to go is probably the XPIPE.
Do you know who sell it and if we can order it?

Cheers,

Unfortunately, Mike (blueta71) no longer makes the xpipe. The only way to get 1 is if someone has it for sale used. Not many of them pop up for sale, but occasionaly they do. Good luck on finding one!

Hey There,

Welcome to the Sickness ! The Sickness Of the Quickness !

As you you already know you'll find plenty of help here.

It's nice to offer help with Items Sold Only In France.

However, We don't have any idea of what they are ?

As far as you finding an X-Pipe ? It could be quite a while.

Your best bet would be to go with an Akropovic Mid Pipe which you should be able to find on E-Bay !

Good Luck and Ride Safe,

Mark

Welcome to starvmax.com. Always great to have people from other countries, especially the pics of some of the places you folks ride.

I was in France last fall and hope to be back soon. Would love to get some pics of you and your Vmax while I am there.

Mike

dear all,

thanks a lot for your prompt answer, I don't know the x-pipe was not built anymore, it's too bad Going for the Akra could be an option but i don't know if it's possible to pur the OEM exhaust on it? Also the price here is crazy as usual, around 900$ for the mid pipe only, maybe it should be better to import an vance & Hines system?!
Do you think it's necessary to have a PCV with only exhaust and airbox mod?
Except that, i can help with some brand like Rizoma, Ermax, or other european brand wich are not easy to find in US, but I'm afraid the cost will kill you :-p
